The Radiology Reporting Online Story
Radiology Reporting Online (RRO) was established in 2011 as a joint venture between University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Everlight Radiology.
Our founding partners recognised the need for high quality radiology services to be provided in a secure, timely and cost effective manner.
They envisaged a service that could exploit international time zones to provide continuous radiology reporting, yet simultaneously ensure that radiologists only work during ‘'daylight' hours. RRO is the result of this unique vision. Due to this model, RRO has emerged as a leader in emergency radiology, particularly so in the afterhours space.
We now have a team of more than 150 GMC specialist radiologists and 40 support staff working from 15 dedicated radiology reporting centres across the UK, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, in addition to a number of home reporters both within the UK and internationally. These strategic locations ensure that we offer our clients continuous coverage 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Today, RRO works in partnership with a large number of radiology departments across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to assist with both urgent and routine radiology reporting.
